About the Role
We're looking for a skilled fabricator/welder to join our manufacturing team. You'll build custom bulk material handling equipment — dust collectors, conveyors, hoppers, valves, and complete systems — from raw steel to finished product. Every project is different and built to order, so you'll work on a wide variety of assemblies across dozens of industries.
What You'll Do
- Lay out, fit, and fabricate structural and sheet metal components from engineering drawings
- MIG, TIG, and laser welding on mild steel and stainless steel
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols
- Operate plasma and laser cutters, CNC press brake, forming equipment, saws, grinders, drill press, and other shop equipment
- Assemble and fit sub-assemblies and final equipment
- Maintain quality standards and dimensional tolerances
- Work with the engineering team to resolve fit-up and fabrication questions
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in metal fabrication and/or welding (2+ years preferred)
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and shop prints
- Proficiency with MIG welding; TIG and laser welding experience is a plus
- Experience with layout, fitting, and assembly of steel structures
- Comfortable operating plasma/laser cutters, CNC press brake, forming equipment, and standard shop tools
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Welding certifications are a plus but not required
